Social Justice, Social Change, and Leadership are key parts of ACT Academy’s vision and mission. During these exciting three days, students will have the opportunity to meet and get to know their teachers and classmates. More importantly, they will be presented with information about possible Social Justice/Change projects. They will be formed into “Change Cohorts” (or teams) and will work on their project. Aside from the work that they will do, there will also be other fun and competitive activities. Buses will depart from and return to locations in Philadelphia and Chester. For students not able to depart from Chester or Philadelphia, alternative arrangements can be made (i.e. milegage reimbursement or bus/train ticket).
